If there's one thing I can say about being a photographer is that it's rarely boring. Every shoot, every wedding, every meeting for that matter is totally different and often it's completely futile to even try and predict the details ahead of time. Aleah and I talked about the shoot and had this adorable shoot planned out at the Levitt Shell. We had changed the date to ensure good weather. We were photographing a super cute, fun couple, the location was stellar. Needless to say we were totally stoked for a breeze of a shoot. WRONG! No way was it going to be THAT easy for us. We get there and lo and behold they're doing construction and the whole area is fenced off. A quick think and a few minutes later we had a new plan. We would work around the GIANT (I can't really express in a blog post just how obtrusive this fence was) for a bit and then move over a bit to catch some of the beautiful architecture at the Brooks. Thankfully Shaun and Amanda were cool to go with the flow.
These guys are so awesome to work with. It was freezing cold while we were shooting but looking at the photos now it could've been 80 degrees outside. Between Amanda killing it in her white sleeveless dress and their easy smiles the shoot ended up having this awesome season-less quality. I hope these guys enjoy looking at their photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them!
