Alright guys. Let me start off by saying that I perhaps went a bit overboard with this post. It's not often that clients give us so much time for portraits on wedding day and I'm not about to waste an opportunity to share.
From that first meeting with Toy and Jennifer I knew that their wedding day style was going to be impeccable. The the minute they started talking I started thinking about all the awesome shots we were going to get and how much fun wedding day was going to be. Toy and Jennifer are so laid back and really just wanted to have a fun and intimate wedding day with family and friends. Their day was an almost constant source of inspiration for us. Every time we turned around there was something else fantastic happening. Days like this really do make me love my job!
I know I've said this before but I mean it every single time. I LOVE this photo of their rings. Between the peonies and the simplicity of the bands it's like a breath of fresh air.
One of the first things I thought of, and Jennifer mentioned, when we started talking about their photos was the Madison rooftop. Since that's where Jennifer was getting ready it really only made sense that we would shoot there. The view from up there really is one of the best ones in Memphis.
Like I mentioned before, Toy and Jennifer gave us loads of portrait time on wedding day. Because of that we ended up putting a bit of distance between us and the hotel. Rather than make these guys schlep all the way back to the Madison from court square I thought they might prefer to take a carriage ride back. Hey! Being generous with your photographer isn't without it's benefits.
How adorable is she!
There are tons of options when it comes to sendoffs but I think glow sticks might be my favorite!
