I think 2016 might be the year of the Collierville Square. This is the third time we've shot here in 2016. When Megan told me this is where she was thinking about for engagement photos I was worried that I would end up repeating all the same places and shots that I'd already done. Thankfully though Megan and Grant are super easy going and comfortable in front of the camera. I'm pretty sure I could've stood them on a dumpster and they would've looked great. Seriously there is no question about how these high school sweethearts feel about each other.
When I asked Megan to slip her ring off so that I could take ring shot her immediate response wasn't "Oh Gosh! Please don't drop it" which is honestly what I usually get. It was you have to get the detail on the side. I was so awesome to hear her be excited about the metal work on her ring! I love little details like these and it made me really happy to hear someone else share that.
One of the downsides of dressing up when you're a girl is the shoes. Yeah they look cute and all but seriously, I don't care what anyone says, there is no way they're comfortable. I think Megan would agree with me too because as we started off for our last planned spot of the day she decided to kick them off and go barefoot. As they're walking along and GRANT IS CARRYING HER SHOES FOR HER I'm thinking could these guys be any cuter as a couple. Answer? Yes, yes they can. When we get to the porch swing I had in mind Megan tells us that they met when he tied her shoe. Really?!? These guys are an early 2000's RomCom brought to life! We had such a great time with Megan and Grant and can't wait to see what wedding day has in store.
