I'm starting to see a trend developing throughout our weddings this spring. CHANGE! It seems like there has been at least one major change up in several of the weddings we've been a part of. For Kenny and Amy it was the city. Yes, you read that right. They changed their venue city. I think that's the first time we've ever had that one happen. When we met Amy last fall the plan was for a downtown Memphis wedding at their home church next to court square. One problem though. They were getting married the exact same weekend as Beale Street Music Fest. Rather than work around the massive crowd that would be flocking to downtown that weekend they decided to move things as far from the chaos as possible; Jackson, TN. Kenny and Amy found a quiet little church just outside Jackson, and Amy, being the planner that she is, nailed down a second venue for portrait time. Green Frog Farm was a perfect compliment for their vintage style. It was such a fun day working with Kenny and Amy and I think that's exactly what they were going for. From the popcorn and coffee bars at the reception to the fun and playful casualness of portrait time these guys put a big dose of fun into their whole day.
One more change for 3eight Photography this time around was that we had a brand new assistant! YAYYYYY Gracie!!! Welcome to the 3eight Photography team. Seriously guys, anytime a first day assistant hands you the two photos above at the end of a wedding day I think they're a keeper.
