In the days leading up to Jeremy and McKinley's engagement shoot Aleah and I were worried. Let me explain. These guys were on our calendar for Sunday evening. A Sunday evening that finished up a four day shooting extravaganza that included two weddings. We were terribly worried that we simply wouldn't have anything left for these guys by the time their shoot rolled around. Thankfully, that didn't happen, not even close. We get to work with some really great couples. Even though we'd worked like crazy people all weekend long we were hungry for just one more. By the time Sunday morning rolled around we knew we would make it. We were both still standing, no one had threatened to give up and go be a hermit on some far off mountain, and none of our equipment melted from being outside in 90F + heat for 3 days. By the time Sunday evening rolled around we were really excited for the shoot. Partially because of the venue (there are SOOO many great places to shoot at Heartwood Hall) but mostly because we already knew how awesome McKinley and Jeremy were going to be.
From the minute they got there we could tell just how great of a fit Heartwood was for them and their personalities. They seemed so relaxed and so at ease that there was no way not to have fun. McKinley even kicked her shoes off at one point for a barefoot stroll with Jeremy. They were so playful with each other and Aleah and I were having so much fun shooting and hanging out that we totally lost track of the time and didn't stop shooting until we ran out of light. We can't wait for their wedding in November and we hope you guys enjoy the photos!
