Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. Some are enormous black tie affairs for 750 guests and some are back yard ceremonies for 10. The one thing all wedding days have in common though is that they're sweet. As sweet goes, though, Brandon and Kolbie's day was one of the sweetest. From the first look on Kolbie's Grandmother's front porch to one of the cutest bubble exits we've ever seen, their day was just like them, sweet!
I will admit that there were a couple of things I worried about leading up to Brandon and Kolbie's wedding. Well, perhaps I shouldn't say worried. Wondered about is probably a more accurate phrasing. I wondered about portrait locations since it was all at Grandma's house. This one was really silly. I've literally shot wedding portraits between two shrubs outside of a bank because that's all we had and it turned out fine. Blame it on me being an over planner. I also worried that with our new assistant, Gracie, joining us for the first time this fall the three of us would be tripping over each other all day. Again, that was a silly worry. The one thing I knew I didn't have to worry about though was Kolbie and Brandon. From the moment we met for coffee I knew there was nothing that could happen on wedding day that would possibly shake them. I know that for a fact, and I'll share the story another time, but for now back to them. They are so easy going and comfortable with each other I knew their day was going to be so so easy and it totally was. I hope you guys enjoy getting to take a peek at their day!
