We are so excited to share Chris and Carley's engagement session! We first met Chris and Carley over a year ago now so it seemed like this engagement session would never get here! The odd thing is that this shoot wasn't even on our calendar for another couple weeks but, spring brought the peach blossoms early. That's okay though, I'll totally rearrange a calendar for great clients and peach blossoms! When we got to Jones Orchard the first thing we noticed (other than how bright it was because we were totally shooting in the middle of the day) was the smell. IT. WAS. AMAZING. I've seen loads of peach blossom scented products over the years and honestly most of them just had a general, slightly powdery scent. I've even seen peach trees in bloom before. There is definitely a difference though in being near a peach tree in bloom and standing in an entire orchard of peach trees in bloom. Add on top of that the cute little oinks and grunts coming from the little pig near the barn and I think I could've stayed there all day.
The location wasn't the only great thing about the day though. Chris and Carley were definitely the best thing about their engagement shoot. One of the first things we noticed about Chris and Carley when we first met them was how comfortable they are with each other. They're one of those couples that can snuggle in together like they've done it 100,000 times watching their favorite movie on the couch. For a photographer that's gold! Add to that Carley's flair for vintage style and we were in heaven! Be sure to check out her Opal engagement ring! I'm a sucker for a unique engagement ring and this one is amazing!
